Our Story

Just Ripe is a family run market and is proud of its partnership with the Doef family - who 40 years ago started growing greenhouse tomatoes, expanded to be one of first producers of Long English cucumbers and now grows a variety of produce all year within their 11 acre greenhouse near Gull Lake, Alberta.
This uniquely Alberta integration of natural gas reserves deep below the surface with greenhouse operations at the surface – enables Just Ripe to provide local fresh produce of highest quality direct to you all year.

I was in your store today. We had the lettuce, red peppers, sweet potato and baby cukes with our dinner. They were delicious! Tasted like they should, so full of flavour. I definitely will be back.
